The History of Ottumwa Told Through Art

This extensive collection from the archives of the Iowa Heartland History Connection Museum showcases Ottumwa’s history from its beginning to modern times. Highlights include Native American artifacts, paintings from Ottumwa’s industrial founders including the Foster and Morrell families, early photographs and maps of Ottumwa’s downtown, and marketing from Ottumwa’s early businesses.
